Worship

|
A SERVICE OF CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE, in preparation for Lent, will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at 6:45pm in the Sanctuary. Following our Wednesday Evening Fellowship Dinner, everyone is invited to gather for the Ash Wednesday Service. We are reminded of our need for self-examination, confession and repentance as we move toward the joyous celebration of Easter. Through music, prayers, and the spoken word, we will be reminded of the love of God who gives life and salvation through the cross of Jesus Christ. As a symbol of Christ’s love for us on the cross, we will have the opportunity, if you desire, to receive the marking with ashes on your forehead. Join us for this special service of worship. |

Senior Ministry

THE SPRING BIBLE STUDY begins Thursday, March 8, at 10:00am in the Lower Auditorium. The subject is “The Holy Spirit.” The cost of materials is $5 which does not need to be paid until the first session. Please call the Church Office to register by Friday, February 24. The study will be led by Bob Stainback and Lori Horne Pendleton. |

THE AGELESS ADVENTURERS will be having a Valentine’s Day luncheon at The Battletown Inn in Berryville on Tuesday, February 14. The group will depart the church parking lot at 11:00am and return by 2:00pm. Please call the Church Office no later than February 10 to make your reservation. |
